Outreach and Educational Programs

Pride Law Fund, as a fiscal sponsor, helped give birth to several educational and community organizations or projects, including the AIDS Legal Referral Panel, the Lavender Law Conference and the Center for Lesbian Health Research.

Now in its 29th year, Pride Law Fund’s Summer Fellowship Program has become a model for educational programs everywhere. Since 1984, Pride Law Fund has funded over 100 summer fellowships to law students working for non-profit organizations across the county.

In addition, the Fund has been the fiscal agent for non-profit organizations; assisted innovative academic programs; supported the development and distribution of legal and educational materials; and financed independant and documentary film projects to educate the public.
